Hirschmann Studio is a design practice based in Los Angeles, CA. Founded by Karl and Erika Z. Hirschmann. Our design process promotes and develops collaboration with our clients. Each project is unique and is inspired by its context and the client’s life style. The studio’s objective is to define and deliver aesthetically beautiful and highly functional living spaces. Hirschmann Studio is an active participant in every stage of the project.

KARL HIRSCHMANN
Director

Karl has a master degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland.

He has over 23 years of experience in the United Stated and overseas, and has played major design and management roles in award-winning projects as an architect and a façade consultant. He also specializes and consults in exterior design detailing.

His work relies on his thorough attention to detail and finding a seamless integration with design and technology.

He is a licensed architect in Massachusetts.

ERIKA Z. HIRSCHMANN
Director

Erika graduated as an Architect form the Central University of Ecuador, and has a Project Management specialization from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She has over 18 years of experience and has worked in architecture, construction and design practices in Ecuador, Argentina and the United States, in a variety of project types and scales.

Her approach encompasses intuition and skill, balancing client expectations with comprehensive solutions. Attention to detail is essential to her process in delivering sensible spaces for the users.

She is a licensed interior designer in the State of California.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

We are involved in every stage of the project, from the initial consultation until its completion.

CONCEPT
DESIGN

This is the first step towards defining the client’s needs and requirements, and implementing them into the project’s initial concept.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

We establish a strong concept base for each project. This means understanding the spaces to intervene, and their relationship with other areas of the site.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

The documentation of the project starts once the client has approved the proposed design.

SITE
SUPPORt

The studio offers site support to the builder and client during the construction.

INTERIOR DESIGN & STYLING

Hirschmann Studio provides interior design, styling and visual merchandising services.
